The morning after the closing of a transfer window should be a time for calm reflection and an assessment of new faces arriving at Scottish clubs.
But Celtic's late hour business had Hotline callers divided as the Hoops signed Greek striker Girogios Giakoumakis, Benfica winger Jota and Tottenham defender Cameron Carter-Vickers, the latter on two on loan.
Jimmy Neil, Glasgow, said: "I was Interested to read that Pedro Caixinha admitted that by signing too many foreign players he lost the dressing room at Ibrox. Celtic should beware, Ange Postecoglou seems to be going down the same road."
Frank McFerran, Carrickfergus, said: "Is there any player that Celtic didn’t sign? They haven’t spent that much but have brought in almost an entirely new team."
William Hutchison, Aberdeen, said: "Part of me is excited about the new signings Celtic have made and part of me is just worried we were panic buying. I hope we didn't go overboard as some of these players won't get a game and it will be money down the drain."

Stephen Mulhern, Dumbarton, said: "I fully understand Ryan Christie wanting to test himself at a better level by moving down south but I was mystified to see he chose Championship side Bournemouth instead of Burnley. One thing is for sure though, he won’t be looking out his passport for European football any time soon."
Gary Paterson, emailed: "Did Gordon Strachan of Celtic, ring Gordon Strachan of Dundee to endorse the Leigh Griffiths loan deal?
"If it was sent by email it would have been lost in the spam folder."
Harry Robertson, Knightswood, said: "Celtic did well in this transfer window as Carter-Vickers is a class act and will bring organisation and strength to our defence and hopefully Jota and Giakoumakis add goals and a bit of attacking flair."
Jimmy Murray, Edinburgh, said: "No doubt Celtic fans will be calling Odsonne Edouard all the names under the sun but he was a great Celtic player under Brendan Rodgers, then when Neil Lennon came in he downed tools. I joined him before then as the day Lennon became manager first time around I swore i would never set foot inside Parkhead again."

Paul Egan, Kilsyth, said: "It was the right to call to allow Edouard to leave as his heart was no longer in it as a Celtic player.
"He has been brilliant for us over the last few years and all Hoops fans should accept the money and lure of the English Premier League is a much more attractive option than playing in Scotland."
Gordon Ashley, Ayr, said: "It's so comical to hear Rangers fans dress up the fact that nobody wants any of their players as a positive. "I'm looking forward to seeing their yearly accounts as they should be eye-watering even by their standards. Now it's their turn to watch players like Glen Kamara and Alfredo Morelos’s value drop as their contracts drop below two years now."
Ronnie Swan, Lochee, said: "Good luck to Jamie Robson at Lincoln City but would Dundee United let him go for sweetie money to that awful league and why would he want to go? I'm afraid this is how far United have sunk.
"I hear a lot of Arabs telling the world they didn't want Griffiths which is nonsense as he is a game changer and will score over 20 goals for Dundee although I hope I'm wrong."
And finally a caller who had last Sunday's Old Firm clash on his mind.
Stuart McLeod, Stepps, said: "Hotline caller. Paul Price was telling us there were a lot of positives as Celtic barely got a shot at the Rangers goal despite facing our third choice keeper and right back. Rangers were missing their captain their number one keeper and up until this point in the season, their most productive player in Scott Wright."
