Alexis Sanchez return date revealed as Man Utd star steps up recovery

Alexis Sanchez could return for Manchester United's second leg against Barcelona .

The Chilean is currently sidelined with a knee problem and initial fears were that he would be out for the rest of the season.

Sanchez has made an impressive recovery though and reports suggest he could be in action for the Champions League encounter.

United take on Barcelona in the first leg of the quarter-final at Old Trafford on April 10 before the return at the Nou Camp six days later.

Sanchez was able to train on Thursday and although ball work was kept to a minimum, he spent over an hour working with conditioning coaches, reports Metro.
