Alexis Sanchez 'breaks up furious row between Romelu Lukaku and Inter Milan team-mate'

Alexis Sanchez reportedly had to come between Romelu Lukaku and Marcelo Brozovic after a furious row broke out in the Inter Milan changing room.

Lukaku is said to have been disappointed by the Italian side's performance in their 1-1 draw with Slavia Prague in the Champions League.

The Belgium international allegedly criticised Brozovic's inability to follow Antonio Conte's tactics, accusing the Croatian midfielder of giving the ball away too easily.

Tensions are said to have quickly reached boiling point, with Brozovic hitting back at Lukaku and claiming he had missed a golden opportunity to score.

As the argument threatened to escalate, Sanchez got between the two players and broke up the row, according to Italian publication Gazzetta.

Conte is said to have been left angry by the dispute and has advised club chief Giuseppe Marotta to deal with the situation behind closed doors.

Lukaku joined Inter Milan from Manchester United in the summer transfer window, in a deal worth £74million.

He was soon followed by Sanchez, who also left Old Trafford for Inter Milan, but put pen to paper on a season-long loan deal instead.

Sanchez and Lukaku struck up a friendship in Manchester and this is said to have only strengthened following the pair moving to Italy.
