Alexis Sanchez arrives for Manchester United training as Inter Milan make transfer enquiry

Alexis Sanchez has arrived for Manchester United training as speculation mounts over his future at the club.

The Chilean forward has been heavily linked with a summer exit from Old Trafford with Italian side Inter Milan interested in a deal for the 30-year-old.

Inter have enquired about the possibility of signing Sanchez before the Serie A window closes in two weeks' time and United are believed to be open to letting the forward leave.

Although the Serie A side have expressed an interest in Sanchez, United sources have told the MEN reports Inter officials flew to London for talks are inaccurate.

Sanchez did not feature for United again on Monday night as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer saw his side held to a 1-1 draw by Wolves at Molineux.

Anthony Martial opened the scoring, before Ruben Neves cancelled out the strike with a wonder goal after the break. United had an opportunity to win the game in the second-half, however Paul Pogba saw his penalty saved by Wolves goalkeeper Rui Patricio.

Sanchez was joined by his United teammates on Tuesday morning as they returned to training only hours after arriving back from the West Midlands.

Speaking after the draw on Monday night United manager had been asked about the future of the Chile international.

"There's still a couple of weeks left of the transfer window," Solskjaer said."And there is a chance some clubs have shown interest in Alexis, so we'll see what happens. Can't update you more than that."

Ahead of the match at Molineux on Monday night Solskjaer had praised the former Arsenal forward for the continued professionalism he has shown throughout the summer.

"Alexis is such a professional and he comes in working every single day really hard," Solskjaer said at his pre-match press conference. "And he wants to be a part of this and it's these stories he's again that he's been put in the reserves, of course he hasn't. He's a part of our squad and a very, very good player.

"He's had three weeks now, he's a few weeks behind the rest but he's close to being part of it. We don't have the biggest forward line in numbers, so Alexis might end up playing a lot more games than you expect, because we expect him to come good at this club, he's quality.

"We've had a behind closed doors game, and he's training, he's doing a little bit of extras, he'll be gradually integrated into more and more playing time, but we'll have more behind closed doors games. With one game a week now, it's hard to keep players ticking, so we're arranging a few of them."
