Alexis Mac Allister has revealed how he was swiftly convinced to sign for Liverpool during talks with Jurgen Klopp. And the new Reds signing admits he cannot wait to start playing in front of the "crazy" home fans at Anfield.
World Cup winner Mac Allister became Liverpool's first major transfer of what is, likely, to be a busy summer when the Reds last week triggered the release clause in his Brighton contract for an undisclosed fee, which is understood to be in region of £35m-£45m.
The 24-year-old midfielder had been courted by a number of elite clubs, with Manchester United having expressed an interest and new Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino making a late move for his signature.

Former Republic of Ireland international striker Cascarino "would love" Liverpool to sign Declan Rice. However, he admits the West Ham captain will be out of the Reds' price range.
But Cascarino, who spent the final six years of his career in France with Marseille, Nancy and Red Star 93, believes Liverpool will snap-up France Under-21 international Kone when the market reopens.
