A missing Edinburgh man's disappearance is being described as "out of character" by police.
Alexandru-Dragos Filache (40) was last seen in Picardy Place at around 10.30pm on Friday.
Officers say that the circumstances surrounding his disappearance are unusual for him, and they want anyone who thinks they've seen him since to come forward.
He is described as white, of tanned complexion, around 5ft 9ins tall, of medium build and with short dark hair which is normally swept back.
He was last seen wearing a white work shirt and black trousers.
They add that he is fluent in Romanian and Spanish, and speaks heavily accented English.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 173 of 19 May.
