Alexandria singers are back on The Voice Kids

Talented singing duo Ava MacFarlane and Alfie King are back in action on The Voice Kids on Saturday night.

The pair who wowed judges when they performed Ed Sheeran’s Photograph during the blind auditions have been off our screens while each of the mentors form their teams for the ITV contest.

But now the Singer Station act will be back on stage during the battle round of the talent show.

As part of Team Will, Ava and Alfie will be up against another act in a bid to progress to the next round of the competition.

We reported recently how they had been nominated for a West Dunbartonshire Provost award with the winner to be announced in August.

Ava’s mum Angela Park told us how the pair had been busy since last being on our screens.

She said: “We took them up to Glasgow busking and there was a great crowd around them.”

She told the Lennox Herald how they are being recognised across the area and have some gigs lined up which they are hoping to fulfil over the summer holidays.

The Voice Kids is back on our screens on ITV this Saturday night (July 13).
