Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez stops heckler: "That's the difference between me and Trump"

While covering climate change and the Green New Deal on MSNBC on Friday, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) clapped back at an agitator in the audience who had called former Rep. Bob Inglis a "moron," retorting: "Hey! Hey! Hey! That's unacceptable."

Details: Ocasio-Cortez pointed directly at the audience member, then turned to Inglis — a Republican from South Carolina who lost his seat in Congress after trying to combat climate change — taking the opportunity to illustrate her decorum, adding: "And that's the difference between me and Trump."

The big picture: The Green New Deal resolution, which Ocasio-Cortez co-sponsored with Sen. Ed Markey (D-Mass.), was voted down in the Senate this week.
