Alexandria and Dumbarton Citizens Advice Bureaus looking for volunteers

Volunteers are being sought for West Dunbartonshire Citizens Advice Bureau.

Full training and support will be given and no formal qualifications or experience are required.

The staff at each of the three CAB offices in West Dunbartonshire — Alexandria, Dumbarton and Clydebank — support people who need help across the area.

Manager Joe McCormack said: “It’s stimulating, interesting and friendly work — and very worthwhile.

“Volunteering with your CAB might just be one of the most rewarding things you ever do.

“Trained volunteers have always been the lifeblood of our service, ordinary people who devote just a few hours of their time each week to help others in their local community.”

A basic training programme will run later this month and interviews are taking place now.
