Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette has sent a hint that he will be staying at the Emirates Stadium this summer amid links with a move away.
Speculation has been growing that the Frenchman could leave the club this summer in order to raise funds to make more signings.
Juventus are said to be interested in the striker and according to journalist Fabrizio Romano , have held talks with the player’s agent.
Atletico Madrid are also said to be interested in Lacazette, with Marca claiming that the Spanish side are willing to offer a choice of three players to Arsenal in order to complete a deal.
Lacazette has been at Arsenal since joining from Lyon in the summer of 2017. The 29-year-old has scored a total of 48 goals in a Gunners’ shirt and provided a further 25 assists.
So it perhaps no surprise that fans would like the striker to stay around for a bit longer.
And one fan made that clear by commenting on the player’s Instagram post, before getting a response from Lacazette himself.
The fan, going by the name of Lacazettesquad on the social media platform wrote: “One word. STAY,” prompting the striker to respond with a winking face.
Lacazette has two-years remaining on his contract at the Emirates Stadium.
He found himself in and out of the starting 11 under Mikel Arteta, scoring 12 goals in 39 appearances in all competitions last season.
He was however named in the starting lineup for both the FA Cup final against Chelsea and the final four games of the Premier League season.
