Alexandre Lacazette's brilliant reaction to 'leaked' image of Arsenal's new adidas away kit

There has been plenty of excitement surrounding the beginning of Arsenal's kit deal with Adidas and the end of the Puma era of strips.

The Gunners had been with Puma for the last five years and the products of that have not received a great deal of love from the Emirates faithful.

Since the Adidas announcement, rumours have swirled about what beautiful shirts could be unfurled - no pressure!

One 'leak' seems to suggest a return to the 'bruised banana' look of the early 1990s and it's safe to say fans like what they have seen.

'It's so beautiful!' - Arsenal supporters go crazy as 2019/20 adidas away kit is 'leaked' online

Instagram user Gunnerballz mocked up the design and used Lacazette as part of his illustration. The image eventually found it's way to the Frenchman's attention and he gave his seal of approval to both Gunnerballz and the kit.

How Arsenal's new adidas deal could prove to be their secret weapon in future transfer windows

The response to the rumoured new home kit has certainly been less positive however.

It's claimed by sports business expert @HowieLongShort that the agreement with adidas will be worth £300 million over the next five seasons, which works out at £60m a year - double what Puma are currently paying.

If the figures being reported across the Atlantic are correct, it will be the third most valuable kit deal in football history - behind only Nike’s agreement with Barcelona and Adidas’ with Manchester United.
