Alexandre Lacazette assesses Arsenal's top-four chances

Alexandre Lacazette admits it will be "difficult" for Arsenal to finish in the top four - despite sitting in the Champions League spots as things stand.

The Gunners are two points clear of Manchester United in fifth with eight games remaining in the Premier League season.

Chelsea are a point further back in sixth while Tottenham are only one place and one point ahead of their north London rivals in third.

Arsenal host Newcastle at the Emirates on Monday night, and Lacazette believes it will be a challenge for them to return to Europe's top table.

"It’s going to be difficult of course, but exciting as well," he said.

Arsenal fans love what Mesut Ozil did in build up to goal in Dubai win

"It’s been a good battle all season so we just want to win every single game and finish third or fourth. It will be good for us and our fans."

Arsenal spent the international break in Dubai, and Lacazette says the trip will be beneficial for the Premier League run-in.

"It was a good idea by the club to bring the players available here to Dubai," he added.

"It’s been good weather, it was a good pitch, great facilities.

"Everyone enjoyed it and we worked well for one week. Now we have to come back to London and stay focused on the Premier League and Europa League."
