Alexander Zverev moves into French Open final as he closes in on maiden grand slam title

  • Zverev won the opening two sets 7-5, 6-2 to put himself in control of the contest at Roland Garros.
  • However, Mensik battled back to take the third set 6-3 as he made Zverev work for his win.
  • Zverev proved his class in the fourth set as the German star completed a 7-5, 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 victory.
  • Zverev has lost all three of his previous grand slam finals but will have the chance to make it fourth time lucky on Sunday.
