Alexa Bliss confirms her WWE in-ring return plans ahead of WrestleMania 35

WWE superstar Alexa Bliss has confirmed she is ready to get back in the ring as she prepares to host WrestleMania 35.

Mirror Sport talked exclusively with the five-time WWE Women’s Champion at the Hard Rock Café in New York City.

The insanely popular ‘Little Miss Bliss’ will sadly miss active competition at WrestleMania, having suffered a concussion back in October.

Fans were thrilled to see the charismatic performer return to TV screens with a managerial role and then her ‘Moment of Bliss’ talk show on Raw.

But speculation has swirled in regards to whether or not the first woman ever to win both the Raw and SmackDown Women’s title will ever step between the ropes again.

Bliss does have a significant role on the super show that will emanate from MetLife Stadium, but after footage of Bliss in training recently surfaced online, Scott Felstead quizzed whether watching preparations for the first ever women’s main event match made her feel an urge to get back in the title hunt.

The 27-year-old said: "I would love to (get back in the WWE title hunt), you know I think that would be amazing. It’s been a lot of fun hosting and everything like that but I’m ready to get back in the ring and I’m ready to show that I’m still very active in the ring.

"It’s been fun portraying a different role; it’s been fun wearing different hats and everything.

"I oversaw the women’s division in kind of a general manager position, and a talk show now, which is awesome. Hopefully I can integrate that into when I get back in the ring as well, so yeah I think it would be great."

Alexa Bliss will take up official hosting duties on WrestleMania 35, a history making night that will showcase a much anticipated triple threat match for the Raw and SmackDown Women's Championships between Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair, and Becky Lynch.

Bliss, real name Alexis Kaufman, from Columbus, Ohio, also talks about her favourite WrestleMania moment in Mirror Sport’s exclusive video chat, which can be seen above.
