Alex Valle sends end-of-season message with special nod to Celtic

Alex Valle has made a nod to Celtic in his end-of-season Instagram post.

The left-back joined the Parkhead club last summer on loan from La Liga giants FC Barcelona.

Valle went on to make 19 appearances for Celtic in the opening half of the 2024/25 campaign, before returning to Catalonia and immediately joining Como on loan for the remainder of the season.

He has since become a regular in Cesc Fabregas' side and appears poised to sign for the Serie A outfit permanently.

After the 2024/25 season ended at the weekend, Valle took to Instagram. He shared multiple pictures from his campaign, including several from his time at Celtic, when he won the Premier Sports Cup.

The Spaniard wrote: "So proud of everything this experience has meant; the growth, the memories, the people I got to know.

"Already looking forward to seeing what next year will bring.

"Grateful and excited for what's ahead."

It remains to be seen what Celtic's left-back situation will look like next season. Kieran Tierney will officially return to the club on a free transfer on July 1, although Greg Taylor's future is still up in the air.

The man who was signed from Kilmarnock in 2019 has interest from PAOK, although his wage demands could price the Greek side out of a move.

Celtic have been linked with Japanese left-back Keita Kosugi in the past 24 hours, too. He is a regular for Djurgarden and helped the Swedish outfit reach the semi-finals of the UEFA Conference League, before they were knocked out by Chelsea.
