Alex Telles has named Diogo Dalot, Bruno Fernandes, Fred and Cristiano Ronaldo as his closest friends at Manchester United.
Telles has struggled for regular minutes at United since his transfer last year, but he's recently enjoyed a productive few weeks of late.
With Luke Shaw having been sidelined on multiple occasions, Telles has stood in and he's proved to be a more than capable deputy.
Telles' performances have been positive and he kept his place in Ralf Rangnick's starting line-up against Norwich at the weekend despite Shaw being available for selection, which means he's already made seven starts in all competitions this term.
And the Brazilian has now reflected on the relationships within United's squad to the club's in-house media and he revealed his closest friends.
“I think English and Spanish unites everyone. We Portuguese and Spanish speakers are always together," Telles said.
“There's a great relationship between all the players and I'm really happy to be part of a dressing room where everyone gets on so well. We're always united, whichever country we come from or whatever language we speak.
“It's a lot easier to speak Portuguese with Diogo, Bruno, Fred, Cris and other players here who speak Portuguese.
“So the connection is a lot easier on the pitch for us to understand each other better, and we naturally have a closer relationship.”
