Alex Telles in Manchester United transfer scrap as Juventus and Sevilla enter left-back race

Left-back hunting Manchester United face losing out on Alex Telles if they refuse to meet Porto's £18m asking price as Juventus and Sevilla show interest in the Brazilian.

The Transfer Window podcast reports that United have made an offer for the 27-year-old put it has not met the minimum requirements Porto have for the star.

This has angered the player who has told the Portuguese club's hierarchy that he is prepared to leave on a free transfer when his contract runs out in a year's time if they don't accept a bid.

United are on the lookout for an established full-back to compliment Luke Shaw but are not prepared to be bullied into paying over the odds.

The former Galatasaray man is looking for a salary of £3.6m a year which would not be an issue at Old Trafford but first a transfer must be agreed between the two clubs.

Juventus have lost star man Alex Sandro to injury and are now in the market for a replacement while Sevilla had Sergio Reguilon on loan last season before he returned to Real Madrid and was then sold to Spurs.

Porto are keen to build an auction as they look to get as much money as possible for their want-away full-back.
