Alex Rodriguez is said to be shocked that Jennifer Lopez has been spending time with former fiance Ben Affleck.
Lopez, 51, and Affleck,48, were spotted on a trip to a luxury ski resort in Montana over Mother’s Day Weekend, and have sparked rumours of a rekindled relationship.
Rodriguez, the 45-year-old former New York Yankees player who dated J-Lo for four years, is said to be shocked that the former couple - once dubbed ‘Bennifer’ - have reunited just a month after he and the Love Don’t Cost A Thing singer called off their engagement.
A source close to Mr Rodriguez told E! News on Monday: “A-Rod is shocked that J.Lo has moved on.
“He truly thought they would be able to make it work and reconnect. He has been reaching out to J.Lo trying to meet with her and she has been very short with him.”
According to the insider for the publication, Mr Rodriguez is “saddened” about Ms Lopez’s reunion with the Argo actor and even reached out to let her know that he’s “upset.”
The source said: “She’s not interested in rekindling anything with A-Rod and is done.”
Ms Lopez and Mr Rodriguez confirmed their split last month.
The two started dating in February 2017 before announcing their engagement in March 2019.
This comes after Mr Affleck and Ms Lopez were spotted at a ski resort, where the actor is understood to own a chalet at the Yellowstone Club in Big Sky, Montana.
It is the second time Ben and Jennifer have been spotted together in just over a week.
The couple were engaged in 2002 but postponed their 2003 wedding and officially split in 2004.
