Alex Rodriguez is straight vibing as he — and the rest of the world — watches Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck pick up right where they left off.
“I am about to step into a new beginning in my life. Anything that doesn’t serve me is clearly out of my life,” the former Yankees shortstop wrote on Instagram Sunday.
“New energy is emerging. New levels are unlocking for me mentally, physically, and spiritually. I am remaining patient and know that this new phase of my life is coming.”
While Rodriguez and Lopez only officially split last month, Jenny from the Block has seemingly moved on quickly, bringing Bennifer into the 21st century. The “Argo” actor has been photographed at Lopez’s Los Angeles home several times and the once-and-future power couple recently took a trip to Montana together.
At the time of the failed engagement, A-Rod and J.Lo both said they were “better as friends,” but all reports are that Rodriguez is taking it pretty hard.
“Alex is still very sore and in a world of pain,” an insider told Us Weekly last week. “It’s the first time anyone can remember him being dumped like this, at least publicly.”
Another gossipy friend told Entertainment Tonight that the split was all Lopez’s decision and Rodriguez “would have loved for it to keep going.”
