Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain says he has never experienced the winning mentality possessed by this Liverpool squad at any of his former clubs.
The former Arsenal man hinted at the differences between the London side and his current team with the Reds picking up points even when they're not playing at their best.
The midfielder, currently preparing for Liverpool's Club World Cup match against Monterrey, explained it is no coincidence that Liverpool have been able to snatch so many late victories this season.
"The mindset that I'm in when we go into a game is that I'm going into it with the mindset that we're going to win. I think that's how we all feel," he told The Telegraph.
"We're going into games expecting ourselves to win and anything else we're disappointed.
There's times in my career where I definitely haven't gone into all games 100 per cent confident that the team's going to come away winning. But with this team, I have that sort of belief in us. If we're no on our A-game that's how I think we should come out of games."
While Oxlade-Chamberlain did not specifically mention former club Arsenal, the inference was they did not have the same mental belief to sustain title challenges when they weren't at the top of their game.
"I've been in teams that are fantastic teams when everything's going great, we're unbelievable and when we have an off-day we have an off-day," he said.

"The good thing at the minute with this group when we're having off-days we're still coming away with good results because we're sticking to our basics and principles as well.
"That sort of winning culture spreads throughout the team. The manager, he insists that the leaders in our team - Jordan, Milly, Adam, Virgil - they're all boys who demand the most of themselves first and foremost and then the rest of us."
"I don't live under a rock so I hear what people say and the predictions that people make. You've got to just keep going out and churning out results. There might be a time where results don't go so well and people maybe close the gap a little bit.
"We've got to be ready for those moments mentally as a team to just keep going and see what happens."
The 26-year-old spent last season side-lined by a serious knee injury he picked up at the end of the 2017/2018 campaign but has scored four goals this year after being eased back into the starting XI.
