Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on why Mohamed Salah 'won't be happy' with new Liverpool training ground

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain believes Mohamed Salah isn't going to be happy with the changing rooms at Liverpool's new training ground.

The midfielder took fans on a video tour of the AXA Training Centre after it officially opened on Tuesday.

As the camera followed him into the changing facilities, Oxlade-Chamberlain pointed out that Salah's shirt number had been placed on what he called "the school benches".

In the changing room all of the players numbers can be seen around the outside with storage, however the Egypt international's number is in the middle of the room with a clothes peg to hang his belongings.

"The dressing room is where the boys will be spending the majority of their day," Oxlade-Chamberlain said.

"I'd like to bring you over here quickly, I'm not sure this is going to go down too well.

"As you can see, we have Mohamed Salah on the school benches, which knowing the man - he won't be happy about!

"But he's going to have to live with it."

While Oxlade-Chamberlain appears to think Salah doesn't have a section along the changing room perimeter, his shirt number can actually be seen with a space along with every other player in the opening sequence of shots in the video.

As the England international walked through Liverpool's stunning new state-of-the-art facilities he explained to fans what will be taking place in each room.

When he arrived at the gym, the 27-year-old revealed that he had his first session there on Tuesday.

He said: "You'll probably see Mo [Salah] and Sadio [Mane] in here about four hours before training starts, doing some beast mode stuff.

"I had my first little session here today. This is a lot bigger than what we're used to at Melwood and it's got a nice view onto the pitches.

"That is nice if you're injured as seeing what you're working for."
