James Milner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain were among a number of notable absentees from the Liverpool squad for today’s Premier League clash with Burnley.
Milner, who skippered the Reds in their opening-day win at Norwich City, was missing from training during the week and will sit out the visit of Sean Dyche’s side due to a knock.
Oxlade-Chamberlain also started at Carrow Road but isn’t involved today due to personal reasons.
Jurgen Klopp was already without Fabinho, who has been given compassionate leave following the death of his father.

Divock Origi, Xherdan Shaqiri and Nat Phillips, who have all been linked with moves away from Anfield, are also missing from the 20-man matchday squad.
Youngsters Neco Williams and Rhys Williams are similarly not included, nor Ben Woodburn, who is wanted on a season-long loan by Scottish side Hearts.
