Alex Morgan trolls England after World Cup goal by sipping tea after scoring

In a 2019 Women’s World Cup tournament full of amazing United States celebrations — from golf claps to Megan Rapinoe’s arms-wide-open moment against France — Alex Morgan’s similarly stands out and then some.

After she scored — on her birthday, no less! — to give the USWNT a 2-1 lead in the semifinal matchup against England, she ran, stopped and pantomimed a sip of tea, which seems like she’s trolling her opponents known for drinking the beverage. And she did it with her pinkie up. Twitter immediately picked up on it and so many people called it savage.
