The One Show host Alex Jones has spoken out about the family logistical problem that she is facing during her second pregnancy.
The 42-year-old has spoken candidly about the challenges she is facing while expecting her second child with husband Charlie Thomson.
Alex was discussing parenting with Libby Clegg on podcast Guide Dogs: By My Side, when she lamented the lack of family support during this pregnancy, after an 'amazing amount of help' when two-year-old Teddy was first born.
Alex praised her mum for her help with Teddy, saying that she would have struggled without it.

Alex revealed: "Mum was amazing at the beginning with Teddy.
“She was there for the first three weeks and thank goodness for her because I don’t know how we would’ve done it, actually.”
Alex than asked podcast host Libby if her and partner Dan Powell enjoyed a similar amount of help from family but Libby revealed that their family dynamics made it difficult to have such level of help.

Libby replied: “We don’t have any family support at the mo because we live so far away from them.”(sic)
Alex then bemoaned that she was now in a similar problem, as her parents and in-laws now lived some distance from her London home.
The TV presenter said: "We have the same problem. One set is in New Zealand, Auckland, and one set is in Wales, it’s not on the doorstep type of stuff.”

Not only that, Alex also said that she was getting fed up with the amount of 'advice' she receives and wished she could tell people to keep their thoughts to themselves.
She revealed: “You must’ve been bombarded with advice, as everybody is at the beginning, and it kind of gets annoying, doesn’t it?”
“You just think, ‘We’re going to do it our way and we will find our own way.’”
