Alex Jones is hosting a brand new TV show reuniting loved ones in Wales

Welsh presenter Alex Jones will be presenting a new BBC programme, the Reunion Hotel, that will see people in her homeland re-united.

The One Show presenter will be fronting the show that promises to bring emotional, romantic, and heart-warming reunions, including former pupils and teachers.

Alex will be comforting and helping the guests as they prepare to be reunited with their lost lover, friend or family member and get the chance to say the things they never got to say.

Reunion Hotel will be filmed in north east Wales and although the exact location has not yet been announced, it will play a key role in the series as all the guests will either be from or have a connection to the area.

The show will be aired on BBC Two and BBC Wales in early 2023 and it will be based on the series Gwesty Aduniad that was originally made for S4C.

There will be six 60-minute episodes of this emotional series that is sure to tug on the heartstrings as relationships are rebuilt and people reconnected.

Talking about the show Alex said: "To be able to play an integral part in the reunion of lost friendships, family members and past loves is very exciting. I’m so looking forward to checking into the hotel to help bring these heartwarming stories to life."

Alex has recently given birth to her first baby girl and is currently on maternity leave from The One Show.
