While we were all minding our own business, the Call Her Daddy mogul decided to hop on Instagram Stories and set the internet on fire, proving that the tension between the Unwell founder and her former star signee is very much alive and well.
The latest update in this saga came on Wednesday, April 15, when Cooper decided she was done playing nice. She posted a series of slides that took aim at both Alix Earle and Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia, writing, “This girl on girl s— needs to stop. While Alix tries to get her story together, let me address Brianna Chickenfry.”
Those Stories landed just days after Cooper’s now‑viral TikTok, where she accused Earle of creating “fake drama” to “distract” from other things happening in her life and urged her to stop “hiding behind other people” and finally speak on what actually went down between them.
In that video, Cooper told Earle, “I know what happened, and so do you, so talk — unless the fake narrative that you’re creating happens to be way more interesting than the truth… Unless you actually have something to say, I’m out. This is over.”
Alix’s reaction and Brianna’s “mean girl” claims
Earle kept her first response light, dropping a casual “Okay on it!!” under Cooper’s TikTok before sharing a video of her friends waking her up to show her the clip.
After watching it in bed, she looked at them and said, “Wait, that just literally made my whole day.”
But things properly escalated once LaPaglia entered the chat. After Cooper’s Instagram Stories called her out, Brianna fired back on her own Stories and in a TikTok, brushing off people who think the whole thing is some elaborate publicity play.
“No, the people that are saying this ‘Alex on Alex crime’ is like a f—ing PR stunt? These are the same people that were saying that about Amanda and West, that it was an April Fool’s prank. Like please guys, get a brain cell,” she said.
She went on to explain that she met Cooper through Dave Portnoy while working at Barstool and initially considered herself a fan “before I knew the wrath of Alex Cooper and what she does to people and how she treats people”.
LaPaglia said she’s close with Earle and claimed, “Alix Earle told me everything that transpired between those two two years ago at the Super Bowl… From what Alix Earle told me, Alex Cooper is a very, very mean person”, alleging that Cooper once told Portnoy, “I don’t give a f— about Grace, I don’t give a f— about Brianna, all I care about is making money”.
In her TikTok, she called Cooper’s latest video “mean girl 101” and “mean girl final boss video”, even comparing it to an ex posting old texts to prove a point: “You literally seem like my ex posting my f—ing texts to him when we were still dating, like my nice messages to him and saying ‘Oh you think I’m a mean girl?’ Yeah, that was before I f—ing knew anything about you.”
She ended with a direct message to Earle: “Alix Earle, I am waiting, I am waiting.”
A feud that’s been simmering for years
This isn’t some overnight fallout. Earle’s podcast Hot Mess was one of the first shows signed to Cooper’s Unwell Network back in 2023, before quietly exiting in March 2025.
At the time, Cooper said that Earle’s podcast break had “nothing to do with Unwell” and that Earle owned her IP, while Earle later described the behind‑the‑scenes situation as “a little bit of a hot mess” in an interview and teased on TikTok, “How much time do you have?” when asked what happened between them.
More recently, Earle appeared to co‑sign criticism of Cooper by reposting a video from another creator who called Cooper “so awful” for telling people’s stories when they’re “at their lowest”.
That move seems to have pushed Cooper to finally spell out her side on camera and, now, in Instagram Stories — where she’s made one thing clear: as far as she’s concerned, the drama with Alix isn’t fake, it isn’t a stunt, and it definitely isn’t over.
