Alex Caruso sparked some joy for LeBron James and Lakers

I don’t watch Marie Kondo, but I know that one of her things is sparking joy. Despite a downtrodden season, Alex Caruso did just that for the Lakers last night.

The 2018-19 Los Angeles Lakers have long-been eliminated from the playoffs and their final few days as unit are counting down. But even for LeBron James, who has been through several more highs than the rest of his group, last night’s 122-117 win over the Clippers was something to celebrate.

James choose to celebrate his most, however, because of some of the excellent play from Lakers two-way player Alex Caruso. Caruso was relegated to play in the G League most of the season with the South Bay Lakers, but last night he dropped 32 points, 10 rebounds and five assists in the win. That got James up off the bench and the Lakers as a whole to celebrate.

The Lakers of this year may be best remembered for their air guitar skills, which all things considered, is a pretty good memory.
