Alex Caruso believes success next to LeBron comes down to basketball IQ

Over the last two seasons, the Los Angeles Lakers have excelled when LeBron James shares the court with Alex Caruso. So well, in fact, it made him the subject of a recent profile in the Wall Street Journal, which dubbed him “the LeBron James of playing with LeBron James.” While that distinction is a bit of a stretch considering the Hall of Famers that LeBron has played with, it leaned on the data that has indicated how great Caruso has been alongside LeBron, which is undeniable.

The great artists from ClutchPoints put the numbers in their iconic art form, showing the impact the two have had together.

Caruso was asked about why he’s been able to succeed with LeBron, which he believes boils down to Basketball IQ.

Caruso and LeBron have also put together some pretty fun sequences during the season, including in L.A.’s Game 1 win over the Nuggets, when Caruso served up a monster alley-oop for The King.

The Lakers will look to make life hard for the Nuggets again when they play Game 2 on Sunday evening.
