Alex Abrines attended the Thunder game on Tuesday night vs. Lakers

Former Oklahoma City Thunder guard Alex Abrines was on hand Tuesday night at Chesapeake Energy Arena to watch his old teammates play the Los Angeles Lakers.

Of course, the Thunder and Abrines agreed to a mutual split on Feb. 9. Abrines missed 20 out of the last 22 games for the Thunder prior to his release due to personal reasons.

In the days since his release from the Thunder, Abrines has been playing ‘Fortnite’ online and said last month that he would be soon making an announcement explaining his release but has not yet done so.

Abrines was treated to quite a game after Russell Westbrook recorded just the second game in NBA history with at least 20 points, rebounds and assists against the Lakers.

While the team cut Abrines back in February, the organization has said that they will continue to support Abrines in the future as he deals with his personal issues.

Abrines was the 32nd overall pick by the Thunder in the 2013 NBA Draft.
