The mum of Alesha MacPhail has asked people to share kind words and "light a candle" on the two year anniversary of her daughter's death.
Georgina Lochrane wrote on the Alesha’s Beaming Smile Facebook group asking for happy memories and tributes to the six-year-old.
The group was set up last year so the youngster’s family could give back to the community for the help they received.
Georgina explained that she doesn't want to the date to pass without remembering her "beautiful, bubbly, amazing little lady", saying "time's definitely not a healer".
She said: "I want today to be full of happiness. Yesterday was full of hurt and pain. Thursday will be the same, so this is where I have a huge favour to ask each and everyone of you, for today and for Thursday."
To mark the anniversary of a fun day held in Alesha' memory one year ago today, Georgina also asked people to share their memories, after this year's event had to be cancelled due to coronavirus.
She said: "You could just imagine Alesha being there in the middle of it, she would have loved it.
"So as today is a very important day and with very happy memories, if you where at the funday last year let's see all your beautiful memories."
Georgina also asked people to "light a candle" in memory of little Alesha on the second anniversary of her death.
She added: "Could I ask that everyone can light it up again for Alesha 7.30pm Thursday 2nd July.
"Take a selfie with your beautiful big smiles and light a candle if you wouldn't mind.
"We will add all the beautiful photos together and we can try make a video of remembrance for Alesha."
