Alesha Dixon continues to proudly show off BLM necklace in support of Diversity

Alesha Dixon continued to proudly wear her BLM necklace in a defiant stand against the racist backlash to Diversity's BGT performance.

The 41-year-old Britain's Got Talent judge looked sensational in her latest Instagram video where she modelled a gold necklace that spelled BLM.

She was also spotted wearing the necklace throughout Saturday's episode of Britain's Got Talent.

Her powerful statement came after Diversity faced 24,500 Ofcom complaints for a breathtaking BGT performance that was dedicated to the Black Lives Matter movement.

Throwing her full support behind Diversity's message, Alesha shared the clip with her 1 million Instagram followers on Sunday.

In the post, Alesha appeared to be getting her makeup done ahead of the Saturday semi-final show.

Alesha let her necklace speak for itself and chose not to add a caption to her post.

The gorgeous mum of two has been flooded with messages as fans rushed to show their support for the Black Lives Matter movement and Diversity's Britain's Got Talent performance.

"Damn right... those haters and complainers can do one," wrote one fan.

"Thank you Alesha for standing firm. For those that do not get it, standing up for Black lives is not political it is a human right! If you are upset, concerned or threatened by this then you need to ask yourself why!!!" added another follower.

During Saturday's show, viewers also applauded Alesha for standing by the dance group.

“If @AleshaOfficial wearing a BLM necklace offends you then you are a racist and part of the problem,” one fan tweeted.

While many supported Diversity's incredible show, a select group of angry viewers fumed about the dance and threatened to boycott BGT.

Ofcom has since announced it will not be investigating the Diversity performance, explaining: "Its central message was a call for social cohesion and unity."

ITV have also come out in full support of Diversity and printed full-page adverts in all national newspapers on Saturday.

The ad featured a photo of Ashley Banjo taking a knee during the performance, alongside the caption: “We are changed by what we see. Just as we are changed when we are seen.”

A message at the bottom read: “ITV. Stand with Diversity.”
