Alec and Hilaria Baldwin have welcomed their fifth child together, a boy.
On Wednesday, Hilaria, 36, shared the news that she had given birth to the family’s newest addition on Instagram, where she posted a photo of herself and the It’s Complicated actor in the hospital with the newborn.
“We had a baby last night. He is perfect and we couldn’t be happier. Stay tuned for a name,” the lifestyle guru captioned the photo.
Alec shared the same photo later in the day, adding the caption: “Número Cinco está aqui… (Para mi, número seis)," which translates to: "Number five is here… for me, number six."
“I love you Hilaria Baldwin,” the 62-year-old added. “My karma is your karma. Your karma is mine.”
The couple’s newest child joins siblings Carmen, seven, Rafael, five, Leonardo, three, and Romeo, two.
Alec also has a 24-year-old daughter, Ireland, from his previous marriage to Kim Basinger.
The Mom Brain podcast host, who previously opened up about suffering two miscarriages, revealed she was pregnant again in April, when she shared a video of her pregnant stomach and the baby’s audible heartbeat during an ultrasound.
“Sound up...I’ll let the baby do the talking because I don’t have the words to express how this sound makes us feel,” the mother-of-five wrote at the time. “Just got the great news that all is well and all is healthy with this little munchkin. I wanted to share this with you. Here we go again.”
The couple’s latest addition comes after Hilaria recently expressed the joy she feels at having a big family.
"The best thing about having a big family is there's just so much love," she told People in August. “They say when you have one kid, you're like: 'I could never love another person as much as I love this kid.' Then you have another one and you realise you can. And that doesn't change as you have more and more.”
On Instagram, the couple’s announcement was met with congratulatory messages.
“Congratulations! Still waiting for the name,” one person wrote, while another commented: “Congratulations to you both! What a blessing especially during these trying times.”
