Aldi unveils innovative cocktail selection to mark National Ice Cream Day

BBQ season is about to get into full swing with days of warm sunshine and rising temperatures predicted.

To make the most of the conditions, budget supermarket Aldi has unveiled a selection of innovative cocktail recipes, uniquely combining booze and ice cream.

Starting from just £1.20 a cocktail, Aldi’s trio of tasty frozen beverages features the supermarket’s award winning spirits range, along with nostalgic ice cream favourites, from Mini-Viennese to Mini Whirls.

Experts from the retailer have come up with the easy-to-make recipes to help everyone keep cool - and also celebrate the UK's National Ice Cream Day on Sunday.

Here's how to concoct the cocktails.

  • 4/5 ice cubes
