Aldi unveils gin-inspired version of iconic Pornstar Martini - and it looks delicious

Online searches for recipes showing how to make the nation’s favourite cocktail have shot up by 500 per cent during lockdown.

According to Google Trends, budding bartenders all want guidance on how to mix the perfect Pornstar Martini.

Now, discount supermarket Aldi has come up with a new slant on the iconic tipple which is perfect for these balmy summer days - and it looks absolutely delicious.
 

The retailer suggests swapping vodka for Aldi’s new Haysmith’s Mango & Passionfruit Gin (£15.99, 70cl), which offers the delicious combination of fruity flavours to add a tasty twist to cocktail hour this summer.

Mixologists recommend pairing it with Aldi’s best-selling Costellore Prosecco Spumante Doc (£5.99, 70cl) to finish off the refreshing tipple.

Here's the recipe for Pornstar Martini

Ingredients:

1. 50ml Haysmith’s Mango & Passionfruit Gin
2. 50ml Smooth Orange Juice
3. 100ml Costellore Prosecco Spumante Doc

Optional: 1 slice of Orange

Method:

1. Pour Haysmith’s Mango & Passionfruit Gin and orange juice into a shaker with ice.
2. Shake hard until foaming.
3. Pour into a Martini glass, then top with prosecco.
4. Serve with a slice of orange to garnish.
