Aldi unveil £12.99 glitter globe gin liqueur - that’s cheaper than the M&S version

As the gin craze isn’t showing signs of slowing down, Aldi have launched a limited-edition Glitter Globe Peach & Elderflower Gin Liqueur (70cl, £12.99) complete with 23-carat gold leaf. It’s definitely something to entertain both the palette and the eyes.

This vibrant, beautiful bottle will not only impress guests around the garden table with that extra hint of Je ne sais quoi, but will save shoppers over 13% compared to M&S’s new Cherry Blossom Gin Glitter Liqueur.

Now we can welcome friends and family members round to our garden’s again, it’s the perfect time to impress guests with a gorgeous new drink.

The new Glitter Globe Peach & Elderflower Gin Liqueur sits alongside a host of new summery tipples as part of Aldi’s new April Spirits Festival range. Available online at www.aldi.co.uk and in stores from April 22nd.

Shoppers will need to get in there quick though, as with all Specialbuys – once it’s gone it’s gone. To find your nearest Aldi, we’ve popped the store locator here for ease. You’ll also find opening and closing time information listed there as well.

Joining Aldi’s already popular Infusionist range, this snow globe bottle will inspire shoppers to go for gold and indulge on a tasty gin liqueur. It has been infused with sweet peach and elderflower – ideal for a refreshing evening tipple, don’t you think? All that’s left to do is shake to wake the flecks of 23-carat gold leaf. Hello Instagram moment.

Marks and Spencer recently launched their own Gin Liqueur Glitter Globe, priced at £17, with a flavour of Cherry Blossom. Taking inspiration from springtime, the new flavour has delicate floral cherry notes, with a hint of peach. The gin liqueur also contains 23-carat, edible gold leaf as well as having an eye-catching ‘animated’ label of blossom falling. So gorgeous. Almost too good to drink… We said almost.

Both of these tempting liqueurs can be enjoyed neat over ice - with a squeeze of lime, or a little dash to Prosecco to really see it come alive.

Will you be heading to your nearest Aldi and treating guests to a delightful tipple? Or keeping it to yourself and enjoying over the weekend? Let us know your thoughts in the comments box below.
