Aldi shoppers have been telling friends about a new SpecialBuy item that’s ideal for those with young children.
The budget supermarket shared a picture of a children’s safety gate that’s lighter than the popular metal gates often bought to help protect children from falling down stairs.
The Mamia Retractable Mesh Safety Gate is on sale for £29.99.

Aldi posted a picture of the gate on Instagram and said: “Don’t want the little ones running wild? Grab this Mesh Safety Gate in store now.”
A product description on the Aldi website said the item provides ‘a safe place for your little ones’ with a temporary, easy to remove barrier. It isn’t currently available online, but is available in stores.
After seeing the item on Instagram, many people were quick to tag friends and tell them about the product.
