Aldi shoppers rave about 'identical' £2.99 Liz Earle cleanse and polish dupe

If you love a bargain, you know Aldi is the place to shop. Whether it’s your weekly groceries, homeware or pet essentials, the budget supermarket has it all.

It has also made a name for itself as an affordable beauty hotspot, with skincare and make-up products that look remarkably similar to some of our cult-favourite creams, lotions and beauty staples.

And this time, Aldi shoppers are loving a SpecialBuy item which is a dupe for a popular Liz Earle skincare product - but it’s a fraction of the price.

The Lacura Original Hot Cloth Cleanser, priced at just £2.99 for a 200ml bottle is available to pre-order on the Aldi website now.

Aldi describes the skincare essential as a “warm, soft and purifying” product that “cleanses and exfoliates the skin, leaving it feeling refreshed.” It’s suitable for all skin types as well as being cruelty free and vegan friendly.

Many shoppers are even comparing it to Liz Earle’s popular Cleanse and Polish, which sells for £18.50 for a 100ml bottle - so not only will you be paying much less with the Aldi version, but you’ll be getting 100ml more product too.

The cleanser even comes with a muslin cloth which can be rinsed with hot water and used to open the pores before gently polishing off the cleanser - leaving your skin looking smoother and softer.

Seeing as the product is back in stock after selling out online, it's already received over 700 five-star reviews from Aldi shoppers. One fan said: “I love this cleanser. The value is beyond good. I prefer Aldi’s version to the original hot cloth cleanser which I previously used for years. I like the difference in price even more.”

A second customer wrote: “I usually buy Liz Earle so I brought this to try. Smells the same and does the same job for a quarter of the price. It’s a no brainer!”

While a third, calling it an “excellent alternative” said: “I have used this product for quite a while after switching from an expensive brand which I loved but was too expensive. Hot cloth cleaner is just as good as expensive one and at a fraction of the price I can get six of these for the price of one of the expensive brands.”

So, if you're after healthy looking skin on a budget, look no further than this raved about Liz Earle dupe.
