Aldi shoppers praise 'expensive looking' £35 Specialbuy mirror

By Elle May Rice

Budget supermarket Aldi has shoppers obsessed with its latest SpecialBuy item, which customers say “feels a lot more expensive” than it is.

Aldi’s SpecialBuys are always popular with shoppers, many of whom anxiously await Thursdays and Sundays to see what they’ll be able to get their hands on. Recently, SpecialBuy products have included everything from hanging egg chairs and hot tubs to milk frothers and churro makers - but this time, it's the retailer’s Kirkton House Black Arch Mirror that shoppers are loving.

The mirror features a decorative arch with a modern design, which Aldi says can create a “soft and homely touch” to your home. The black-rimmed mirror is currently on sale for £34.99, down from £49.99.

The Black Arch Mirror has racked up a number of five star reviews on the Aldi website, with shoppers praising it as “beautiful” and a “bargain”. One reviewer said: “Great value for money! Really nice big sized mirror, great addition to my room. Came quickly and packaged up well! Love it.”

A second wrote: “Solid sturdy stylish well made mirror. This mirror looks 4 times its sale price. It’s bigger than I thought it would be. It looks like it could have been bought from a posh furniture store Easy to put up and came well packaged. Good buy”.

A third shopper added: “Beautiful mirror. Lovely Mirror, perfect size, looks great in my hallway” and a fourth said: “Bargain. We weren’t sure if this mirror would look/feel cheap but it's the opposite. It's heavy and expensive looking - great above the fireplace”.

Another wrote: “Bargain mirror. Really good quality and heavy. Feels a lot more expensive than what it cost”.

Aldi’s Kirkton House Black Arch Mirror is currently on sale for £34.99, down from £49.99. You can shop the Specialbuy online here.
