Budget supermarket Aldi has shoppers obsessed with its latest SpecialBuy item, which customers say is the “bargain of the year”.
Aldi’s SpecialBuys often prove popular with shoppers, many of whom anxiously await Thursdays and Sundays to see what they’ll be able to get their hands on. Recently, SpecialBuy products have included everything from hanging egg chairs to hot tubs - but this time, it's the retailer’s Bamboo Style Rattan Bistro Set that’s catching shoppers’ eyes.
The bistro set, priced at £169.99, features two chairs, a table with a tempered glass top and two chair cushions. The bamboo effect furniture is powder coated, rust, weather and UV resistant too.

The Bamboo Style Rattan Bistro Set has racked up more than 60 five star reviews on the Aldi website, with shoppers praising it as “beautiful” and “stunning”. One reviewer said: “Beautiful set! I love this set! Its well made, comfy and very sturdy. Perfect!”
A second wrote: “Stunning. Delivered this week, really easy to put together. Excellent quality looks absolutely stunning in my garden. Very happy with my purchase. Would 100% recommend!!!” and a third added: “Bargain of the year! Absolutely delighted with this purchase. So much so, I bought a further two sets!”
