Aldi shoppers hail 'Ole Henriksen' dupe that's just £4.99 saving shoppers over £20

There is always a never-ending list of dupes going viral online as people look to save their hard-earned cash.

And even more so now during the cost of living crisis - whether it's make-up, skincare or even food.

If you're buying it as a gift to yourself or a friend - because you're still allowed to treat yourself - it's nice to save money and still get what you need. And it seems one dupe has satisfied Aldi customers.

According to MSE, Aldi has a dupe for popular high street and online brand Ole Henriksen, and it's a fraction of the price.

Ole Henriksen Truth Juice™ Daily Cleanser comes in a 150ml tube and is getting rave reviews online. Sold in Boots, it currently retails for £20.80, but usually costs £26.

However it appears that Aldi's Lacura Vitamin C Cleanser could be the next best thing, costing just £4.99 - a total saving of £15.81, or £21.01 at full price.

The money saving experts say the dupe is one of many the budget supermarket sells, urging people to look out for its own-brand ‘Lacura’.

The product description for the Aldi product reads: "Upgrade your daily cleansing routine with the Lacura Vitamin C Cleanser. Specially formulated to brighten your skin and even skin tone, this cleanser works well as an everyday skin care product. It gently cleanses and exfoliates your skin leaving you looking and feeling refreshed."

Meanwhile the Ole Henriksen product description reads: "Finally, a juice cleanse you can commit to: Truth Juice™ Daily Cleanser gently removes dirt, oil and makeup (yes, even your favorite longwear mascara) and reveals refreshed, energized skin. Plus, its luxurious gel crème texture and bright, addictive scent invigorate the senses as it purifies."

However due to its popularity, stock varies between stores and they can sell out fast - whether you're opting for Lacura or Ole Henriksen - so be quick.

Taking to the review section in Aldi one said: "Brilliant product will definitely buy again" titling their thoughts ''excellent product' and giving it a full five stars.

Another added: "Not a bad cleanser, cleans the face well and a lovely smell too. Would recommend!"

You can buy the Ole Henriksen Truth Juice™ Daily Cleanser via the Boots website and the Lacura Vitamin C Cleanser via the Aldi website.
