Aldi shoppers go wild for heated airer that will dry clothes quicker this winter

The summer months in Scotland feel like a distant memory with colder weather setting in across the country.

Forecasters anticipate temperatures to plummet to lows of around five degrees later this evening as winter edges ever closer.

Not only does the freezing weather make it uncomfortable for many of us, it can also be a nightmare getting clothes dry in the house.

So with that in mind Aldi has launched the ideal gadget just in time for those colder climates, Manchester Evening News reports.

The supermarket’s Easy Home Heated Clothes Airer can heat up in just five minutes and can dry clothes in a short space of time.

It is large enough to dry bed linen and towels and can also dry shoes as well as a wide-range of clothes.

Shoppers have been snapping up the gadget and it’s easy to see why, with a price point of just £89.99.

It comes equipped with a cover, shoe rack, mesh shelves for delicate items and velcro peg hangers - and the entire package comes with a three year guarantee.

Heated clothes airers are popular gadgets for the winter months, with Lakeland's Drysoon heated airer range amongst the company's bestselling products. But with Lakeland's equivalent dryer and accessories bundle coming in at over £100 more than Aldi's version, it's no wonder the budget supermarket has got shoppers hot under the collar with their latest deal.

The airer is just one of a host of pre-order SpecialBuys and sale items launched in the last few days on the popular retailer's site, with shoppers seemingly as keen on toy kitchen gadgets - like a £79.99 toy kitchen and a bargain £29.99 wooden shop and theatre also selling well.
