Aldi shoppers can't wait to 'smash' £1.49 treat that's 'just like Domino's'

Aldi is now known for its dupe of big brand products but for a fraction of the price.

And its latest offering is no different as it expands its takeaway range.

Shoppers may already be familiar with the supermarket's Carlos Takeaway pizza range and now it's added a £1.49 treat fans are on the hunt for.

Carlos Takeaway Chewy and Gooey Cookies, costing £1.49 for a pack of four are said to be 'just like' Domino's Gooey Cookies, which are more than double the price at £4.99 for four.

Posting a picture of the delicious dessert - or meal if that's what takes your fancy - on the newfoodsuk Instagram page, the caption read: "NEW Gooey Cookies - Takeaway Style from Aldi.

"One word - perfection! These are the perfect takeaway style (you know which ones were referring to) cookies!

"Honestly, after warming them up in oven for 10 minutes, these cookies were soft, gooey and full of dark choc pieces!

"These are delicious! We cannot believe how good these actually are! Highly recommend these! Only £1.49 - absolute bargain!"

And after such a glowing review, takeaway fans are looking forward to trying them for themselves.

"Wait till that aldi opens up, they’ll be getting smashed!" wrote one.

Another said: "They look like dominoes ones."

"They've levelled up," added a third.

A fourth enthusiastically added: "LIFE CHANGED," with another commenting: "We need to an Aldi ASAP!!"
