An Aldi shopper managed to save herself £37 by picking up reduced kids’ furniture - but she didn’t know they were discounted until she got to the till.
In one of the best bargains, Carla Mechan saved £15 on the price of tepee bookcase which had been reduced from £34.99 to £19.99.
She also spent £17.99 on a toy box instead of its £29.99 price tag, and just £29.99 on a table and chairs set that should've been £39.99.
This meant she saved £12 on the toy box and £10 on the bookcase.
In images posted to Facebook, none of the items have reduced stickers on them and Carla said she only knew they were discounted when they were scanned at the till.
Writing on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group, the savvy shopper joked she “only went into Aldi for tea bags”.
She said: “When I got to the till they were all reduced. Toy box was £17.99, bookcase was £19.99 and table and chairs were £29.99.
“Also picked up the cute cushion for £4.99. Saved me a trip to IKEA and delivery costs.”
Carla told The Mirror she picked up these bargains in her local store in Annan, Scotland.
We’ve asked Aldi if these discounts are nationwide, or only in the one store, and we’ll update this article when we get a response.
In the meantime, if you're planning on buying new kids' furniture anyway - it might be worth asking your local Aldi what it has in stock.
Shoppers have since flooded the original post by Carla as they congratulated her on her bargains.

In more Aldi news, the supermarket has just confirmed it is changing its Sunday hours for the summer - meaning shoppers have more time to find bargains.
The discounter says it wants to give shoppers more time to pick up food and drink during the Euros football tournament, so it'll open shops 30 minutes earlier.
Aldi told The Mirror that its Sunday opening times vary from store to store, but most open at 10am.
So if your store normally opens at 10am, it'll open at 9.30am from this Sunday onwards.
You won't be able to head to the checkout during the extra half an hour though, as it's only for browsing purposes.
