A shopper named Simon Linney, recently purchased a box of six Peppa Pig ice cream lollies from Aldi and quickly realised it was not the innocent sweet treat he had hoped for.
When he got home and unwrapped one of the treats, he noticed that the arm of the lolly, which is on Peppa’s side and usually has three fingers, had melted into one blob making it look slightly phallic.
Speaking to The Mirror, Linney shared the image and said: “Thought this might get a giggle.

“I bought these Peppa Pig ice creams from Aldi. Since when did Peppa have a high penis?!”
The frozen grocery product, which Aldi’s website says is manufactured by Icefresh Foods Ltd in Slovenia, is meant to show the popular children’s TV character’s profile.
It is absolutely not meant to suggest that the children’s character has “a high penis” as Linney suggested. Perish the thought!
Nevertheless, the hot weather made its mark on the world in many ways over the last few weeks and Peppa is just one of its victims.
It is not the first time the ice cream has melted in this way. Last week, a Twitter user named Sarah-Jane experienced a similar issue and joked that she would not be buying the ice cream again.
