Aldi shopper's 'game changing' tip that cuts shopping time by 10 minutes

A mum's Aldi hack has been labelled 'game changing' by fans of the supermarket chain as it takes away the pressure of packing quickly at the tills.

Trying to open pesky plastic bags at the best of times is challenging, but now that we can't touch our faces when we're out shopping, the task is near on impossible to complete.

But not anymore as Kirsty, a mum-of-two from Australia, came up with a simple solution that can shave up to ten minutes off your shopping trip, reported Manchester Evening News.

Kirsty took to the Aldi Mums group on Facebook to share her idea, writing: "If anyone struggles to open the produce bags like me, I’ve found a solution.

Tie a sanitiser wipe onto your trolley (Stoke Sentinel)

"On your way in, tie one of the sanitiser wipes to your trolley to moisten your fingertips!

"It’s so much easier than the ten-minute workout it usually takes to get them open."

Since being posted it has received thousands of likes and comments from shoppers, with some branding the idea as 'awesome' and another saying Kirsty is 'winning at life.'

One said: "What a game changer!!!"

Another added: "Been doing this for a while now, works a treat, then after you've unloaded goods into car I use it to wipe steering wheel and hands and mobile phone and dispose of used wipe at home."

"Omggggg thankyouuuu i was seriously struggling.." wrote another thankful fan.

And a fourth added: "This is an excellent idea."

Others suggested instead of licking their fingers, they squirt some hand sanitiser gel onto their hands.

But the best option would be to bring fabric bags with you - they're better for the environment, and there's no faffing involved.
