Aldi shopper's clever packing tip 'can take 10 minutes off' your supermarket trip

Now we can't touch our faces when we're out shopping, trying to open fruit and veg bags at the supermarket has become near impossible.

It was difficult before, but now, without the ability to lick our fingers to open the things, it's like an Olympic sport.

Luckily one Aldi shopper has come up with a clever solution - and she claims it could shave as much as ten minutes off your supermarket shop.

Writing in the popular Aldi mums Facebook group, the shopper said: "If anyone struggles to open the produce bags like me, I’ve found a solution.

"On your way in, tie one of the sanitizer wipes to your trolley to moisten your fingertips!"

She added: It’s so much easier than the 10 minute workout it usually takes to get them open."

The post quickly became popular with other Aldi shoppers, and has since racked up over 2,500 likes and hundreds of comments.

Replying to the post, one person said: "What a game changer!!!"

Asda, Tesco, Aldi, Sainsbury's and Morrisons shoppers warned against stockpilingunder new lockdown rules

Somebody else responded: "Been doing this for a while now, works a treat, then after you've unloaded goods into car I use it to wipe steering wheel and hands and mobile phone and dispose of used wipe at home."

"Omggggg thankyouuuu i was seriously struggling.." wrote another thankful fan.

A fourth added: "This is an excellent idea."

Give it a go next time you head to Aldi and see how much time it takes off your shop.
