Aldi shopper 'disgusted' and slams store for 'vile word not suitable for children'

An Aldi shopper was left "disgusted" and slammed the store for selling a product that has a word on it she says children shouldn't see.

She spotted the 'vile' product in Aldi in Netherton, the Liverpool Echo reports.

She took offence to the car cleaning kit called 'Demon Chill'.

The shopper then took to Facebook to say she was 'totally disgusted' by the name of the product.

She posted in a Facebook group: "Totally disgusted Aldi are selling this. Any advice on how to complain as a consumer or get a petition or something to have it removed from shelves?

"We should not have to see this in supermarkets nor should our children become familiar with this word. It's a total curse. Demonise your car???

"Come on. This is absolutely vile! Any Christians amongst us or even people with common sense?"

The range of car care products are said to include the "essentials to overcome the harsh winter essentials".

In an advertisement for the product on the makers website, the strap line says "Demonize your car this winter with our CarPlan Demon Winter Range".

It then goes on to describe the product as "encompassing all the essentials you need to approach and overcome the harsh winter conditions that the UK has to offer, Demon has introduced a variety of products to assist you in combat this winter."

Aldi was approached for comment.
