A brand new 99p ice cream purchase from a bargain supermarket has sparked the interest of shoppers across the UK.
Aldi is stocking a version of soft ice cream on a stick covered in a hard chocolate case they have blended with chocolate orange.
Giannis Chocolate Orange Chocksticks have received a huge amount of online attention for being delicious, with one shopper claiming it was the best thing she has eaten in a long time.
They also come in Salted Caramel, Milk and White Chocolate, Mint Chocolate, Almond and a mini selection- but it's the orange that is getting all of the attention.
And at around 25p for a lolly, it's also great value for money.
In the Facebook community, Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, a happy customer wrote this review: "Absolutely the best thing I've eaten in a long time. not sure how much they were but if the same as the other flavours 99p. gorgeous like a chocolate orange mousse so yum. From Aldi"
Since posting almost four thousand people have reacted to the news with likes and comments.
"another choc orange goodie to add to your kitchen," said one shopper.
One person said they were too good to share: "I got some, they are so good I have hidden them"
"Don't like chocolate orange but all the other ones are lovely just as nice a magnums," said one person about the whole range of ice creams.
The new Gianni’s Chopstick Ice Cream trio that includes the Orange, Mint and Salted Caramel is available at Aldi stores nationwide from Friday 27th August.
