Aldi, Sainsbury's and Asda recall chicken, crisps and biscuits over safety risks

Products potentially containing salmonella are being urgently recalled by major UK supermarkets.

Shoppers are advised by the Food Standards Agency to return the affected cous cous, biscuit, crisps and chicken goods immediately in exchange for a full refund.

The latest recalls include items being sold in Asda, Aldi and Sainsburys.

The FSA has updated its website with full details of the products being taken off the shelves this week.

The watchdog has included names, pack sizes, batch codes and in some cases pictures so customers can readily check if the items they have purchased recently are covered by the withdrawal notices.

We have pulled together the list below to help keep you safe.

If you have bought any of these items then don't eat them. Instead, return them on your next visit to the supermarket.
