Aldi's wine advent calendar is returning this Christmas

If you thought advent calendars were only for kids, think again.

Aldi's wine advent calendar is returning this Christmas and is expected to be hugely popular once again.

Filled with 24 mini bottles of red, white, rosé and fizz, including customer favourites such as The Exquisite Collection Macon Villages Chardonnay and the Calvet Cap d’Agde Rose, it adds another boozy element to the festive season.

It is being released as part of Aldi's Special Buy range, which means stock will be limited.

The calendar contains 24 bottles of wine (PA)

The calendar sold out almost instantly when it was first released in 2017 and there was similar demand last year, so anyone looking to get their hands on one this year will need to be quick.

Eager shoppers will be delighted to hear that the calendar will be on sale in store and online from this Sunday (November 3), priced at £49.99.

Bottles range in size from 187ml to 200ml.
